Speed up your Modem with USB extension cable

Idea has included a USB extension cable (around .5 meter) with 3G net setter modem box. You can use the extension cable with your Idea net setter Modem. It helps to get more coverage, Best coverage helps to get more speed. I have a personal experience with the extension cable.

 I have using my net setter using a 1.5 meter USB extension cable (I have added additional 1 meter extension cable). It helps me to get more speed. If you are in a top coverage area, you can't add additional extension cable. Sometimes, the long length USB extension cable may be reduce data transfer speed. I have using Idea net setter since 2009.

You can easily find your Idea 3G Net setter data usage and balance on your net setter application.

To know the balance, got to your net setter application and click on Statistics, here you can find all information about your data usage by year or month or day basis. You can also reset the statistics.

You can also get the usage details when disconnect the net setter after usage. Or you can contact Idea customer care. If you are using postpaid plan, The spastics details is very important for you.

Idea cellular launched its new USB modem with support of 7.2 mbps speed. It will cost around Rs. 1550/- in Kerala. The new 7.2 USB modem is white color. An USB extension cable has included in the Modem Box. The extension cable helps you to get more coverage in low range area.

Idea 3G net setter is a Internet access USB Modem ((also known as Internet Data Card) launched by Idea cellular with preloaded by Idea Dialer software. Idea 3G net setter comes with a SIM CARD Slot, but you can use only Idea SIM Cards on this slot and Idea Cellular locked the modem by its software to avoid use of other SIM cards. But some people using this modem with other SIM Cards by unlocking the software.

You can use this 3g net setter as your Internet modem with your computer or Laptop. Its preloaded dialer software helps you to access as plug and play device, so you can’t carry the dialer software CD.
